Focus and Scope

Culture and Counselling Journal provides a forum for sustained scholarly dialogue on multicultural issues in school counselling that can be examined empirically and translated into practice. The journal publishes research articles addressing multicultural school counselling, cross-cultural counselling in educational settings, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and counselling interventions for culturally diverse learners. Culture and Counselling Journal also welcomes studies on indigenous counselling approaches, counselling for minority and marginalized students, multicultural competence of school counsellors, social justice–oriented counselling in schools, and student psychological wellbeing within multicultural environments. We warmly invite researchers, practitioners, and policymakers who share a strong interest in these areas to contribute to Culture and Counselling Journal.
