Focus and Scope
JOMSC provides a forum for sustained scholarly dialogue on multicultural issues in school counseling that can be examined empirically and translated into practice. The journal publishes research articles addressing multicultural school counseling, cross-cultural counseling in educational settings, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and counseling interventions for culturally diverse learners. JOMSC also welcomes studies on indigenous counseling approaches, counseling for minority and marginalized students, multicultural competence of school counselors, social justice–oriented counseling in schools, and student psychological wellbeing within multicultural environments. We warmly invite researchers, practitioners, and policymakers who share a strong interest in these areas to contribute to JOMSC.
